    One of the fierce funky classics from the legendary Dave Pike Set – the European funky combo set up by vibist Dave Pike after leaving our shores and doing some great work overseas! There's a wicked psychedelic funky jazz approach here that's pure MPS at its best – the kind of freedom to explore that the label always encouraged in its artists, which is maybe one reason why Pike sounds better on his MPS records than just about anywhere else! The rest of the lineup is fantastic too – Volker Kriegel on some fantastic fuzzy guitar, JA Rettenbacher on funky bass, and Peter Baumeister on heavy drums – on killer cuts that include "Big Schlepp", "Country Shit", "King Of The Tumba", "Times Out Of Mind", "Inside Crime", and "Toys".
