After we performed a successful series of gigs together, entitled "Jazz Edge on Saturday", the recording of a CD seemed to be the logical next step for us. I was amazed by the excellent interpretation of my music in exactly the way I imagined it to be played by Ull an Thomas. It added to the big pleasure of this recording session. My deep appreciation goes to these two great musicians and true friends in Stuttgart. I sincerely hope we will enjoy many more performances together.
"El sol sale" –“a sunrise” can inspire many things. When watching the sun rise, one is reminded of the daily renewal of hope for better times. New possible paths to follow may come to mind, which can help us understand and enjoy the true meaning of life, without forgetting where we come from and who we are. There will always be some difficult moments in life or new things to learn, but there will also always be special moments when the sun is shining on us.
