Stacey Kent - A Time for Love (2026) скачать бесплатно

With a voice as light as air and as smooth as honey, Stacey Kent is a vocalist that hardly needs an extensive introduction. Famed for her nuanced and refreshing undertaking of standards, bossa nova, and French chanson, Kent initially earned her stripes on the London jazz club scene before rising into the public eye across the 2000s. Since then her voice has become instantly recognisable, her gentle and delicate tone winning her the prestigious title of BBC Jazz Award for Best Vocalist (2002), a British Jazz Award (2001), and a Grammy Nomination (2009) – not to mention gaining the attention of celebrated author (and consequential writing partner and lyricist) Kazuo Ishiguro.

With a three-year interim period between this project and her last album Summer Me, Winter Me, the American vocalist returns to the Naive label alongside reed player (and husband) Jim Tomlinson, and Art Hirahara on piano in A Time For Love. As the title suggests, the record is brimming with romance, with the tracklist spanning the dreamy melodies of The Beach Boys and Stevie Wonder to Burt Bacharach and Leonard Bernstein.
